Telehealth Visit | Virtual Doctors Appointment

During this season of social distancing, many of our physicians are offering virtual visits for patients whose insurance plans cover them. A virtual visit allows you to communicate with the physician via a videoconference.

Established patients interested in scheduling a virtual visit should send a message to your provider via the patient portal or call us for information.

New patients interested in scheduling a virtual visit should call us at 803-256-4107. Let the scheduler know that a virtual visit is your preference.

Insurance Coverage:

Medicare, BCBS, United Healthcare, Aetna and Cigna have all expanded coverage for Virtual Visits during the COVID-19 crisis.

Workers’ Compensation virtual visits may be scheduled with adjuster approval.

COVID-19 Precautions:

CDC has not changed its recommendations for healthcare facilities related to face coverings regardless of vaccination status.

• • Patients and visitors to our practice are required to wear a mask or cloth face-covering while in our clinics.
  • By entering our facilities, you are attesting that you do not have symptoms of COVID-19 and that you have not tested positive for COVID-19 within the previous 14 days.
  • Symptomatic or COVID-19 positive patients should reschedule their appointments, ask about telehealth options and/or consult with their physician’s team before arriving at the office. You may send your physician’s team a message through the patient portal or via phone: 803.256.4107.
